Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 18 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Liveasy ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use Compliance Tracker (the "Service").

Compliance Tracker is a personal record-keeping tool. It is not a law firm, and using the Service does not create an attorney-client relationship. We do not provide legal advice.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and a securely hashed password (via Firebase Authentication, operated by Google).

Content you provide. This includes case information you enter (such as case title, case number, and party names), responsibility and entry records (dates, descriptions, statuses, evidence descriptions, witness information, and any notes you write), and any documents or text you upload or paste for the purpose of extracting responsibility information.

Payment information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not receive or store your full credit card number. We receive limited billing information from Stripe, such as your subscription status and billing email.

Automatically collected information. We may receive standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and access timestamps, generated by our hosting and infrastructure providers as part of normal operation.

2. How We Use Information

We do not sell your information. We do not use the content of your entries (case details, evidence descriptions, notes) for advertising, and we do not share it with third parties except as described in this policy.

3. Where Your Data Is Stored

Your account data and entries are stored using Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Authentication), a cloud infrastructure service operated by Google. Payment data is processed and stored by Stripe. The Service itself is hosted by Netlify. Each of these providers maintains its own security and privacy practices, which you can review at their respective websites.

4. Data Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access rules that restrict your data to your own account only. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Your Rights and Choices

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and entry data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your associated data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for use by adults (18 or older) managing their own family law matters. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children. Case information may reference a minor child as the subject of a custody matter; this information is provided by the adult user and is treated with the same protections as all other content under this policy.

8. Sensitive Nature of Data

We recognize that information stored in this Service may relate to sensitive family law and custody matters. We do not review, monitor, or use the substance of your entries for any purpose other than providing the Service to you. Access to your data is restricted to your authenticated account.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
